Excursions in the southern part of Gothenburg arcipelago

The south of Gothenburg archipelago is perfect for kayaking. Here you will find some suggestions for trips with the starting point from Fiskebäck. But remember, there is a lot more to see!

How far do i Kayak?

A normal kayaker will kayak around 15-25 km per day. Depending on weather, wind and physical strengh

Description:
Short tour that you can adjust to your own preferences. Go throw the Eskil channel and beyond.

Description:

Saltholmen/Långedrag

Description:
A short tour in protected waters. Follow the coastline north and kayak to the famous swimming spot Saltholmen or the harbour of Långedrag. You kayak the same way back

Brännö brygga
Description::
Full day that takes you to the heart of the southern archipelago. First you pass some small island and later you will be surrounded by the bigger islands in the archipelago. Brännö brygga is a famous place in Sweden with songs written about it.

Watch out for the boat traffic in the area!

Souther archipelago circuit
Description:
Here you get to see what Gothenburg archipelago is all about. A multi day tour around the achipelago. You can adjust the tour to your preferences and make it as long/short as you wish. If the weather is good and the wind is calm don´t miss out on the outer part of the archipelago.

You can stay in tent, on a hotell or on a hostel. You can dine your own food or visit the restaurants in the area. 

Warning: There is a lot of boattraffic in the area!
